Alright due to an audition for a BCI musical I did not get home until 9:30 and only have 15 minutes to complete this assignment.
Yeasterday a noble Roman and former associate of the late Julius Caesar convinced most of Rome to rise up against Caesar's murderers. This provoked much violence and many innocent citizens whose names were similar to those of the conspirators found themselves in deep trouble. In one such incidence a poet by the name of Cinna found himself being mobbed by Romans and torn apart mercilessly. Earlier I spoke with an eyewitness of the scene who wishes to remain anonymous in case of provoking more violence and received his report.
"Many people were on the way to visit Caesar's funeral, however certain unfortunates were not lucky enough to return. I saw a man torn apart with bare hands today, and doubt I'll go many nights without seeing it again. An innocent man who I had met before and who seemed like a kind person was torn apart for no other reason than his name being Cinna. Antony's speech at the funeral had turned the people into bloodthirsty beasts unwilling to listen to the pleas of Cinna the poet, unwilling to acknowledge the truth of his identity. When the mob left the scene there was nothing left of the poet other than blood. This makes me wonder whether it was truly the conspirators who where bloodthirsty and dishonourable, or whether it is us Romans. Either way, I have a feeling that this act of violence towards an innocent citiczen is bad news for the conspirators. If people would treat a person by the name of Cinna this way, how would they treat Cinna himself? I believe that it is best for most people who do not wish to be involved in this to stay inside until this event plays out."
And there we have it, our eyewitness report on the event of Cinna the poet's death and his opinions on what happened. Stay tuned for out next news report at the same time tomorrow. Although I don't really know how you'll stay tuned because the radio won't be invented for millenia.
There you have it, > 200 words. Now I must be going because I am three minutes ahead of schedule. I suppose I will have to skip lunch.

Whosawhata's letters (Some weird english assignment that I have to finish in 20 mins)
Dear Brutus,
I fear that Caesar is becoming to ambitious, if he is loved by the people anymore than they already do, he may proclaim himself king. You are a person of high power and are respected by Caesar. I believe that you may be the one to step up as your ancestors did and ensure that Caesar does not rise to power. Caesar may appear a great ruler now, and I know you love him, but when faced with enough power even the best of us can become tyrants. Even if he is a good emperor at first, what if he becomes tired of Rome? What will happen to us then?
I do believe that if you were to rise up against Caesar and make your intentions clear, the people would follow you. The citizens are foolish people and will follow whoever the rulers tell them to. They will be sure to forget Caesar as quickly as they forgot Pompeii.
Think of what would happen to the republic if Caesar rose to power. What us romans have worked for centuries to develop would crumble in an instant. The people would lose all say whatsoever in what goes on. Caesar could make us all walk on our hands and eat out of troughs with the power of an emperor.
If not for us, or for yourself, do it for all of rome. You must rise up against Caesar for the good of the empire. Perhaps Cassius would be able to help you. I'm sure that you and I are not alone in our feelings about Caesar and many others would rise to aid you in your cause.
Afternote: Now please excuse me as I get ready for school. Be thankful that I chose to do your project first rather than the 5 other outstanding ones that will be left unfinished until tomorrow.

2001: A space oddysey, more of a prophet than once thought?
This is just a thing to remind me to write about it in the morning or next day. Stay tuned, or not. But if you do, I may be able to get 5 cents from advertising.
Blog assignment
So Mr. Edwards has just told me what to do. I suppose that I should get to work. Ok then, here it is: Muahahahahhahahahaha. Evil laugh for the win. I will probably never take this seriously.
Answer #1:
The author of the current book that I am reading is Stephen King. I have absolutely no idea how many books he has written, and probably not many people do. He has written dozens of horror novels. And who knows how many short stories. I find that he is a very good writer, he may not be the best; but I am hardly going to go to a book store and look for better writers. The only books that I will read, are ones that I do not have to put much effort into finding. For example the books on my parents' book shelf, or the ones at the school library. But nothing that I have to look for, usually just ones that I have heard about. Anyways, Stephen King is not only an author, he is also a director. Although I find many of his films annoying, for example the famous line from "Maximum Overdrive": "Curtis, you dead?" Stupid lines like this, subtract from my ability to take a movie seriously, and usually send me into a fit of making fun of stupid people. Which happens almost every month. Anyways, back on topic again, he is an awesome writer who can sorta freak certain people out.

This book is about a vampire (although I have not heard about it yet) who moves into a town. Apparently the town is abandoned after the events (read in the prologue). So far it has been about a man who has gone back to his childhood home in Maine. U.S. He is writing a story while he is there, and having a relationship with some random girl that he met on the street. The girl also cooks for him, which in my opinion makes her a very good girlfriend. In one of the substories, a man named Laurence has sold an old and apparently haunted house, connected with a story of murder and suicide, to a very strange man (Likely the vampire or an aquaintance of the vampire). This strange man has Laurence run certain errands for him, which have erie results. In one case, people had to place a large box (likely containing a coffin in my opinion) in a cellar. During this, the men doing the job saw what looked like the clothing of a boy who had recently dissapeared on a shelf. That is as far as I have read.
Answer #3:
The setting of the book is in a small quiet town called Jerusalem's Lot in Maine, U.S.A. The time is in the mid 1980s, likely in the summer. It is a typical small town, everybody knows everybody and you need to have lived there for 20 years to be considered a commoner. And of course it's few pieces of history have been remembered in detail and will likely be remembered much longer.
Answer #4:
The main character of this novel is Bill Mears (not Billy Mayes, as I keep thinking). Bill is a very easy going person; he does not take much seriously other than his work. When meeting his girlfriend's parents, he is very laid back and even enjoys a few beers with the father. He doesn't get to worried about the town filled with gossip, or the fact that he is treated as the stranger of the town. You very rarely see Bill angry or upset or really showing any emotions other than happiness. He is also a bit of a workaholic. Bill does not feel right if he has not written for atleast 6-8 hours a day. He wakes up in the morning, writes, and keeps on going until night time with a few breaks in between. Some people may not consider this a workaholic, but if I was a writer I would not be writing anywhere near as much as that. I am struggling to even finish this blog.
Answer #5:
So far I am enjoying the book. Nothing interesting has really happened yet int the first 150 pages or so. Mostly just a boy dissapeared, he probably got eaten by a vampire or something. But who really cares about that? One thing that I strongly disliked about the book is how it started with the death of a dog. I know that it is supposed to be a gory horror story, but killing a dog? I think that is going too far. A much better idea that would have had a similar yet less upsetting effect on the story would be to kill a cat instead.
I enjoy the detail that the writer put into the book. It really helps when you can picture a house or a town to its last detail. It also adds to the suspense and the horror of the story when it slows down in a scary moment to describe something. Because you know that the person is still doing whatever he is doing that is scary and it makes it seem longer.
And there we go, blog post number one. Hopefully somebody can make some sense of it because I certainly can't. But that is what I do with blogs and will probably continue to do: Write random thoughts that come to mind and hope that they are worth a few marks. Well, they'd better be. I need a 70 to stay in laurier and I am already doing terribly in math. Then again that may be related to the fact that I don't do homework. Atleast I take the time to write my english at 11:00 AM on a monday morning.

I am joining a blog apparently
I have apparently just joined this blog. I have absolutely no idea what I am doing. So I have decided to write this. Perhaps I should write about the book that I am reading. Then again, that would take thought. And everybody knows that I do not want to bother thinking. I wonder if anyone will ever read this. Probably not, because it is very boring and pointless. Why am I even joining a blog anyways? This is english class; we should be reading stories! Oh well, I am bored of typing now, perhaps I will figure out what to do. Or eat a cookie, either one.
